Everything you need to know about Onuvia — billing, provisioning, security, and more.
Onuvia is a premium cloud infrastructure platform offering Virtual Private Servers (VPS), dedicated servers, encrypted VPN access, and S3-compatible object storage. We own and operate hardware in 12+ datacenter locations worldwide.
Our current product lineup includes: KVM-based VPS from $5/mo, bare-metal dedicated servers, military-grade VPN with global nodes, S3-compatible cloud storage with tiered pricing, and managed SSL/networking add-ons.
We don't currently offer a free trial, but all plans are pay-as-you-go with no minimum contract. You can start with the smallest VPS plan, test it, and scale from there. Unused wallet balance is never forfeited.
For VPS and dedicated servers, basic Linux or Windows administration knowledge is helpful. Our control panel simplifies common tasks (reboot, reinstall, SSH key management) without touching a terminal. VPN and storage products require no server knowledge.
Yes. There are no contracts or cancellation fees. Services run on a prepaid billing cycle — when you choose not to renew, the service is terminated at the end of the paid period.
Onuvia operates on a wallet-based prepaid system. You top up your wallet with cryptocurrency, and charges are deducted from your balance at the start of each billing cycle. There is no auto-charge of a credit card — you always stay in control.
We accept Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USDT (ERC-20 and TRC-20), Litecoin (LTC), and several other major cryptocurrencies via our Coinpayments and Cryptomus integrations.
Confirmation times depend on the blockchain. Bitcoin typically confirms within 1–3 blocks (10–30 minutes). USDT on Tron (TRC-20) confirms in under 60 seconds. Funds are credited automatically once the required confirmations are reached.
Wallet top-ups are non-refundable due to the nature of cryptocurrency payments. However, if a service fails to provision or experiences downtime exceeding our SLA, we issue automatic wallet credits. Please open a support ticket for any billing disputes.
An invoice is generated automatically for every service renewal and wallet top-up. You can download PDF invoices from Dashboard → Billing → Invoices at any time.
Yes, the minimum wallet top-up is $5 USD equivalent. There is no maximum.
VPS instances are provisioned automatically in under 60 seconds in most cases. Dedicated servers may take up to 4 hours depending on datacenter location and hardware availability. You will receive an email and dashboard notification when your service is ready.
We offer a wide range of Linux distributions including Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, and Fedora, as well as Windows Server 2019 and 2022 (Windows incurs a licence surcharge on some plans).
Yes. Custom ISO uploads are supported on all VPS and dedicated plans. You can mount an ISO from a public URL via the control panel and boot from it.
For Linux: via SSH using the credentials or SSH key you provided at order time. For Windows: via RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol). Both access methods and credentials are displayed in Dashboard → Services → [your service].
All Onuvia VPS plans use KVM virtualisation with dedicated CPU cores, guaranteed RAM allocation, and dedicated NVMe storage slices. Resources are not shared or overprovisioned.
Plan upgrades are available at any time and take effect immediately with a prorated charge. Downgrades are applied at the next billing cycle. Contact support if you need assistance resizing your service.
Data on our NVMe drives is encrypted at rest using AES-256. Backups (where included) are also encrypted. Network traffic between your server and the internet is your responsibility to encrypt at the application layer (e.g., TLS/SSL).
Yes. All services include always-on volumetric DDoS mitigation up to 1 Tbps at the network edge. This is included at no extra cost on all plans. For application-layer (L7) protection, we recommend pairing with a CDN or WAF.
We retain account data for the duration of your relationship with us. After account deletion, data is purged within 30 days. Logs are retained for 90 days for abuse investigation purposes only.
Go to Dashboard → Settings → Security. You can choose between Google Authenticator (TOTP) or Email OTP. We strongly recommend enabling 2FA on all accounts. Backup codes should be stored in a password manager.
No. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared where required by law or to process your payment via our payment processors.
Our VPN service supports WireGuard (default, recommended), OpenVPN, and IKEv2/IPSec. WireGuard provides the best balance of speed and security for most use cases.
Standard VPN plans include up to 5 simultaneous connections. Multi-device add-ons are available for teams.
Yes. When connected, your traffic exits from our VPN node's IP address. We do not log connection timestamps or traffic content. Our VPN operates under a strict no-logs policy.
We currently operate VPN nodes in 12+ countries including the US, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Singapore, Canada, France, and Australia. New nodes are added regularly.
Torrenting is permitted on VPN plans where the exit node's jurisdiction allows it (flagged in the location selector). We prohibit illegal content distribution regardless of jurisdiction.
Yes. Our object storage is fully S3-compatible — you can use any existing S3 SDK, CLI tool (including the AWS CLI), or application that supports S3. No code changes required if you're migrating from AWS S3.
Storage plans start at 100 GB. You can upgrade your bucket size at any time from the dashboard with no data migration required.
Inbound transfer (uploads) is always free. Outbound transfer (downloads/egress) is included up to a monthly allowance per plan. Overage is billed per GB at a flat rate shown on the pricing page.
Objects are stored with 3x replication across multiple physical drives within the same datacenter. For cross-region redundancy, you can enable bucket replication to a second location.
Our support team is available 24/7 for critical issues. Browse the Help Center for detailed guides, or open a ticket and we'll help you personally.
